Dawsons chosen as 2017 rodeo parade marshals

RELATED

Jack and RaeCille Dawson were selected earlier this year as the Grand Marshals of the 2017 rodeo parade by the Jefferson County Rodeo Association. Jack and RaeCille are long time supporters of the Jefferson County Rodeo and Fair. They also competed in the Wrangler Roundup In-county rodeo for many of those years. Jack was a champion saddle bronc rider in the 60’s and 70’s, and was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2011. Jack is a third generation rancher in the Boulder Valley. RaeCille was a rodeo queen during her college days, a long-time art teacher here in Boulder, and served on the fair board and then judged the photography/fine arts for many years.

The Jefferson County Rodeo Association thanks Jack and RaeCille for all the years of support and par- ticipation. JCRA extends their sincerest sympathies to the Dawson family for the untimely passing of Rae- Cille this past May. We are proud to honor the Dawsons as the Grand Marshal of this year’s rodeo parade.
