Creative hub revived under new ownership

Just seven days after moving to Boulder from Las Vegas, Liliana Pederson stood in the freshly painted front room of Boulder Stitch & Stone Friday evening, greeting county residents at the craft shop’s grand reopening. Beside her, business partner Sierra Hall welcomed visitors into a space they’d transformed in less than a week.

The two women purchased the business Dec. 22 and opened the doors Jan. 2, working around the clock to reorganize inventory, paint walls and establish what they hope will become Boulder’s creative gathering place.

“We just want it to be a space where people can come and just let their artistic selves go,” Pederson said during the opening celebration.
