County seeks residents’ wish list for capital improvements

Jefferson County is seeking residents’ suggestions as it develops a capital improvement plan that will identify and prioritize improvement projects throughout the county.

The Board of Commissioners recently directed Great West Engineering — the firm it hired to assemble the plan — to conduct a survey because, states a news release, it is “essential … that the plan reflects the needs of residents.”

Residents can take the survey online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/JeffCoCIP or by filling out a paper copy that’s available at all Jefferson County libraries.
