Two stories in the March 16 issue of The Monitor—one about mill levy proposals and one about candidate filings and elections—incorrectly stated how the June 7 primary election will be conducted. The election will be conducted in person at polling places on June 7. Only voters who have requested an absentee ballot, also called a “mail-in ballot,” will receive one. All other voters must cast their votes in person on June 7. (County special district elections would have been conducted by mail this spring had there been any contested seats.)
