Buckles and Morris are with Elkhorn Community Foundation, which granted $1,000 to the Jefferson High School Thespians for their trip to Nebraska and the Century 21 Program Service Learning Group (represented by Hesford) to build a half-basketball court at Centennial Park; and $500 to the Clancy Old Red Schoolhouse (represented by Gruber) for renovations. Buckles posed with the JHS Thespians’ check because director Mike Hesford was in Nebraska.
