Sheila Young would sing at the drop of a hat. Whenever someone asked, or when they didn’t; sometimes she just sang so somebody would shake with the music!

The mold broke when this one was born. Sheila was witty, and her friends thought she could have been a standup comedian. Her imitation of “The Godfather” and Jimmy Durante were classics, bringing a smile to the sourest of people. So many of us miss her laugh and giggles.

Sheila was an avid reader and had a vocabulary our mother was so proud of – though she did not always approve! She was loyal, generous, empathetic, and so forgiving. She would go without just to help someone in need. She was a fierce warrior for the underdog and wore her heart on her sleeve.
