Clancy VFD gets new chief

After 17 years with the Clancy Volunteer Fire Department, Bob Johnson was recently selected as the new chief, taking over for Chad Parks. Parks served in that position for the past six years.

This is the second time Johnson has served as chief, his first beginning in 2000. Prior to that he was the department’s equipment officer.

Bert Obert was re-elected as the department’s treasurer, a position he has held for several years.
