City map updated for first time since 1974

For the first time in 45 years, the City of Boulder has “officially adopted and recorded a city limits boundary map,” according to the resolution that, well, puts it on the map.

The resolution, which also describes the city’s two wards, was approved by a unanimous vote of the City Council at its July 15 meeting.

The resolution follows a months-long process undertaken by Morrison-Maierle, the engineering and planning firm the city hired to produce the new map and descriptions, as well as a public hearing held during the City Council’s regular June 17 meeting.
