Boulder is rapidly approaching. Candidates have until 5 p.m. Monday, June 19, to get onto the ballot. This year’s city ballot will include a four year term for mayor as well as one four-year term in each of the city’s two wards. As of early Monday morning, June 12, no one had filed for election to the Ward 2 council seat. Gary Richardson, incumbent, had filed to retain his seat as Ward 1 councilman. Two candidates had filed to run for mayor. Incumbent mayor Gary Craft is being challenged by Lori Smith. Filing can be completed at either the county clerk and recorder’s office or the city clerk’s office. There is a $15 filing fee.
