City Council to hear proposal for duplex homes in Boulder

Boulder’s City Council will consider a project that promises to bring significant new affordable housing to the city’s west side on July 10.

Throwing Dice LLC, a Helena-based company controlled by Andy Sabbatini and Ryan Werner, has proposed constructing 25 duplex homes on 7.49 — currently vacant — acres at the west end of Hauser Road in Boulder.

Each two-unit building would be 3,824 square feet, according to the proposal filed with the city; each unit within would have 1,426 square feet of living space. The homes would connect to municipal water and sewer service; the project site would be irrigated and watered via an existing on-site well.
