At its Mar. 17 meeting, the Boulder City Council accepted a $1.2 million bid from Karnath Contracting to complete a number of tasks related to the city’s long-standing effort to expand and improve its public water system.

Among other, unspecified, improvements, Karnath will construct a new well house for Well Four, which was recently relocated from near Little League Park to nearby city property, and restore an existing well house located near Boulder Elementary School.
