Boulder’s only licensed daycare closes its doors

Six very quiet youngsters – five sound asleep – were scattered around the Frog’s Corner Daycare last week. Nap time was the perfect time for Barb Rashleigh and daughter RaeAnn Kallberg to talk about what was about to happen.

On Friday, March 30, the business – the only licensed daycare in Boulder – would be closing its doors.

“Not that we want to, at all,” said Rashleigh three days before the final session. “It’s been the hardest decision ever.”
