Boulder’s Doc Pallister featured in magazine

The spring issue of “Montana The Magazine of Western History” features an article about Boulder resident Dr. Philip Pallister. Titled “We Had to Start Treating Them as Human Beings,” the article covers Pallister’s time with the state facility now known as the Montana Developmental Center. A clinical geneticist, Pallister provided medical care there from the 1940s into the 1970s before moving on to do genetic work at the Shodair in Helena. The magazine is published quarterly by the Montana Historical Society.
