Skijoring a new rapidly growing winter sport is coming to Jefferson County, brought to you by the Boulder Valley Skijoring Association. This incorporated federal non-profit aimed at organizing and hosting equine skijoring races is coming to the Boulder Valley in 2020. “Skijoring the Big Rock” will be held at the Boulder Fairgrounds and adjoining state land February 29 through March 1, 2020 where the newly organized association plans to accomplish the following:
Generate 10K in sponsorship, donations and entrée fees
Register 100 participants
Attract 2,000 spectators during the two-day event
Raise over 2K for our beneficiary Boulder Schools
Receive media coverage from outlets that extend far beyond our Skijoring network and event spectators.
