The City of Boulder is considering changing the scope and title of the city clerk’s position as it seeks to replace Megan McCauley, who announced her departure from the job as of Feb. 1.
City Council President Drew Dawson said he and Mayor Rusty Giulio would consider several alternatives to be brought to the City Council for approval before the job is posted: “We’re going to look at the job duties sand see if [the city clerk’s role description] is still appropriate. Dawson said existing city code allows for the modification of the clerk’s role.
