At JHS, new year looms — exciting and hectic

We are preparing for what will be an amazing and busy start to a school year. We anticipate approximately 300 students enrolled this school year, and they’ll encounter the new addition and upgrades to our current building.

That will make for an exciting first few weeks — but all the changes and improvements could also prove hectic. Although the building will be completed, there will still be final touches needed to finish the project. Please join us at an open house for tours of the new additions, Aug. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. 

Freshman Orientation will take place on Monday, Aug. 26. The first regular school day will be Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fall sports parent meeting is Monday, Aug. 12 at 6:00 pm in the North Gym, and fall sports practices begin on Aug. 16.
