Annual walk to combat hunger set for Oct. 6

Boulderites can soon again walk in solidarity with people nationwide for a cause intent on “Ending hunger one step at a time,” according to its tagline.

The area’s 23rd annual CROP Hunger Walk is set for Sunday, Oct. 6 at Veterans Park. Registration opens at 3:30 p.m., the walk begins at 4 p.m. and an international-themed potluck follows at 5 p.m. at Boulder City Hall.

According to organizers with Boulder United Methodist Church, the interfaith walk has raised more than $26,000 in the 22 previous walks.
