Progress is visible on Muskrat Lane as the Animal Shelter and Care of Jefferson County is seeing its dream become a reality, one step at a time.
Work on the kennel building – which provides the shelter with four indoor/outdoor dog runs and a supply storage area – completed on March 15.
“Our hopes are to continue raising the needed funds to complete the inside of the kennel area so they are operational by the end of summer 2023,” said AS&C Director Cheryl Haasakker.
