Addition pending for Rattlesnake Butte

The county’s Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee discussed a potential addition to the new Rattlesnake Butte Park at its July 28 meeting. The Prickly Pear Land Trust is seeking to close a purchase of land adjoining the park that would then be donated to the county. Chair Bret Lian said the Committee will wait until after the transaction is resolved to post signage around the area and update its management plan for the park.
