Her door always open, her love boundless

Vicki had a heart of gold, and her love for her family knew no bounds. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, finding immense joy in being there for her children and grandchildren. 

Vicki had a nurturing spirit and was like a mother figure to all of her children’s friends, treating them as if they were her own. Her door was always open, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Professionally, Vicki was employed by Elkhorn Treatment Center in Boulder. She dedicated herself to her work, making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Vicki passed away on Dec. 15. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron; stepdaughter Vanessa (Tony) Ford; daughter Stephanie (Will) Colletti; sons Alex (Brandy) Rintamaki and Nathan (Chelsea) Rintamaki; brother Troy (Heather) Rathbun; and her pride and joy, her grandchildren Ella, Brandon, Kelli, Kylar, Korbin, Kimber, and Cameron. She was predeceased by her parents, Sally Murray and Harold VanHoudt.

Vicki was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There will be a celebration of her life on Jan. 20, 2024, 2 p.m., at the fairgrounds in Boulder.
