Boulder Elementary students of the month

The following students were recognized as students of the month for November, nominated by their teachers.

KinderCub: Rose Steele has shown academic excellence, positive attitude, and dedication/responsibility. Rose’s outstanding performance in all of these categories is only a few of her many achievements. She also does really well with her peers, she is very kind, and her smile is so contagious.

Kindergarten: Every day, Mason Powell strives to be his best. He works hard, helps others, and shows integrity in every situation. I am so proud of his accomplishments.

First grade: Abel Shaw has demonstrated academic excellence, positive attitude, and dedication to learning. Abel consistently produces high quality work in all academic areas of our first grade curriculum. He follows classroom and school expectations in all learning settings.

Second grade: Braelynn Bumgarner has had exceptional performance in the classroom and outstanding attitude. Braelynn always tries her hardest and puts the most effort she can into her daily work, ensuring it is done with accuracy and meets class expectations. Braelynn also has a positive attitude and is always willing to accomplish whatever task she is asked to do on time and with a smile.

Third grade: Quinley McCauley has demonstrated academic excellence, positive attitude, and dedication. Quinley always comes to school with a positive attitude and warm smile. She works very hard in the classroom. Quinley is kind and caring to all of her classmates and works very hard at making sure everyone feels welcomed.

Fourth grade: Ellie Simons shows what being a fourth grade Panther is all about. Ellie comes to school each day with a smile. She is a wonderful part of our classroom and school community. She is a hard working student who loves to learn, to have fun, and enjoys working with others. Ellie shows kindness to everyone.

Fifth grade: Zaydin Sample excels academically, and he strives to follow our classroom C.H.A.M.P.S., is willing to help those who are in need, has a strong outgoing personality, completes all of his work, has a creative mindset that he’s willing to share, and gets along with just about anyone.

Sixth grade: Daniel Ahkigvak was selected because of his commitment to quality work and his kindness toward his fellow students. He takes pride in his work and it is always neat and well done. He is a positive member in any group he is put into.

Seventh grade: Clearwater Skillicorn has taken charge of his learning this year in mighty ways. He is diligent and persists even when the going gets tough. He has built great friendships with his peers and has a wonderful balance of being fun-loving and reliable. He adds to each lesson with quiet contemplation and thoughtful feedback. As he continues to push through the rigors of 7th grade, he is sure to continue to demonstrate a positive attitude, respect for all he meets, integrity in his conduct and responsibility everywhere he goes.

Eighth grade: Roger Persons consistently shows excellent behavior in class, kindness and respect to classmates and staff, and a strong work ethic. Roger turns in all assignments on time and has taken advantage of the many extra credit opportunities that are offered in class. Roger sets good examples for his classmates to follow as a responsible student.
