“I love what I paint,” says Geno Pasini. And what the Boulder resident loves to paint is Montana’s wildlife. He enjoys “the beauty of their creation, the coloring, their antlers. The whole thing.”
Pasini, 81, showed his work Nov. 11 at the Western Legacy Center in Whitehall. “His art is so amazing,” said Center Director Pam Polachi. “I have never seen anything like it.”
Working from photos, often those of his wife Sue, Pasini sketches in pencil, then adds ink. Each work can take three days to complete: “I spend as much time as I think it needs,” he says. “I want the detail right.”
