Small nonfarm businesses in Jefferson County can apply for low‑interest federal loans to offset economic losses caused by drought in Lewis and Clark and Powell Counties.
Eligibility for the loans covers impact on businesses dependent on farmers and ranchers that have suffered agricultural production losses caused by the drought as well as businesses directly impacted by the disaster, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration.
