On the war in Gaza

Thank you for your insightful and daring editorial about the Israel/Palestine War. (Publisher’s Note, Oct. 25) I hope that Americans can rally to put an end to the carnage. We can stop sending weapons to Israel, demand that a no conditions attached ceasefire begin immediately, and that Israeli and Palestinian groups begin negotiations that lead to a lasting peace in Israel/Palestine. Genocide cannot be a sought-after outcome.

Instead of being suckered into WWIII, we need to get at the truth, and steer towards peace. Your editorial was a good beginning. Let’s keep the very public discussion going.
