Growing Community Naturally is hosting two free events at East Side Park in Boulder this weekend.
On Friday, Oct. 13, from 3 to 5 p.m., it’s Family S’mores Fun. Join us for a free event to support Lights On Afterschool, the 21st Century Learning Center Afterschool Program
The next day, Oct. 14, we’ll hold our final work day of the season for the Boulder Forest Garden.
The garden is a low-maintenance, sustainable, plant-based food production system. Our goal is to create an educational demonstration site, as well as a beautiful woodland park featuring edible landscaping available to the community.
In order to continue establishing the Boulder Forest Garden, we need more helping hands! Work days are a great way to get outside, meet new people and build community.
Come by Saturday between 1 and 4 p.m. And bring work gloves, plenty of water, a hat and sun screen, and a snack to share. Gardening tools are optional.
Bring your family, friends and neighbors; we can’t wait to see you there! No sign ups necessary. Questions? Email Camden Graves gravescamden@gmail.com.
