Interim chief for Clancy Fire Department

After 25 years serving the department, Greg Robson has been named interim fire chief of the Clancy Volunteer Fire Department.

“I’ve been a captain, the president, so it’s probably time for me to step up as chief,” Robson said.  He said he’s served so long in the fire department because of the camaraderie the job brings, as well as being able to serve his community.

The position was left vacant Oct. 1 after Tracy Leibbrandt, who served as chief for almost four years, resigned to return to his hometown in Nebraska.
