Please join the Jefferson County Democrats on Thursday, Sept. 21, for the first annual Adopt A Highway clean up followed by a potluck at Volunteer Hall at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
The volunteer opportunity begins at 3 p.m. at Volunteer Hall. Drop off potluck items, sign in, get an orange vest and a black plastic bags, and then head out to the highway to pick up garbage until 5 p.m. Participants will return to Volunteer Hall for a potluck dinner. Local and statewide Democratic and non-partisan candidates have been invited to join the potluck.
If you aren’t able to pick up garbage, please join us for the potluck at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
