Everybody, in the pool!

One of Boulder’s most popular escapes from the heat – the Veterans Memorial Pool – is finally open for business as of June 29.

Delayed this year by a shortage of lifeguards, the pool will now offer  swim lessons, open swim and lap swimming.

This summer’s lifeguard shortage is just another episode in the multi-year saga that the pool has faced – including last year’s bout of mechanical issues combined with a lack of parts to make the necessary repairs, which set the pool’s opening back to July 5, 2022.
