Boulder resident and father of three Chris Agge, 47, who had been reported missing last week, was confirmed to be alive and well in Utah, by Utah State Police on Dec. 17.
Concerned family members called the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) on Dec. 13 after Agge didn’t return to his home. The responding deputy noted unusual circumstances, such as Agge’s apparently departing without his phone and credit cards, which led to JCSO issuing an “attempt to locate welfare check” order to state and national law enforcement agencies.
The circumstances of Agge’s presence in Utah were not investigated or reported, as the welfare check only stipulates that his location and wellbeing be confirmed.
