There was a time when the events season in Jefferson County started in June and ended in September. Now, just about every month there’s something going on.
Halloween festivities begin this week in Boulder, with Big Rock Fright Nights, and in Whitehall, which launches its annual Screams Come True haunted house. You can get all the information you need at www.bigrockfrightnights.com and www.screamscometruemt.com.
After the spooks and spiders come down, we begin gearing up for the Boulder Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jefferson High School’s north gym. There will be tons of vendors featuring unique handmade arts and crafts, gems, soaps, wood, and more. What a great way to get a jump start on holiday shopping and support the local economy. Admission is free and Growing Community Naturally will be serving homemade soups and artisan breads. If you are interested in becoming a vendor visit www.bouldermtchamber.com for a form.
