Douglas James Forbes, 81, of Boulder,

Douglas James Forbes, aged 81, of Boulder, was called to his eternal rest on the 6th of August, 2024.

Born to the late James and Leona Putra Forbes on Dec. 16, 1942, in Chinook, Montana, Douglas was a man of strong character and resilience, attributes greatly shaped by his honorable service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Following his military service, he returned to his home state and embarked on a long and dedicated career with the Glacier County Road Department. Douglas retired after many years of faithful service, thereafter indulging his love for travel and adventure, journeying from the icy frontiers of Alaska to the sun-kissed deserts of Arizona before making his home in Boulder.
