Amid the survey deluge, two that matter

Our lives are awash in surveys. How satisfied were we with our customer experience? (Meh.) Would we recommend it to a friend? (Not if you keep asking these questions.) Are we in a relationship? (None of your danged business.) Who do we plan to vote for? (Ditto.) Win an iPad! (Hmmm…)

I’m going to ask, though, that you suspend your survey fatigue and consider investing a few minutes in two local efforts that actually matter.

As you’ve read in The Monitor, Jefferson County is working on a new growth policy, a Montana statute-described document that’s meant to describe our community’s goals and objectives, and to lay out the policies, regulations and other measures needed to achieve those ends, along with a strategy and timetable for implementation.
