Clancy crafters work to create connections

A new craft sale is coming to Clancy and just in time for the holidays.

The Clancy Community Center will host the Christmas Comes to Clancy craft show Dec. 12-13. With a $1 entrance fee to be donated to area fire departments, organizers Jill Tode and her mother, Diane, aim to strengthen local connections and offer an affordable sense of welcome. 

The community center can hold fewer than 30 vendors, making it a relatively modest affair – which is part of the draw. “We realized that we could have a smaller group of crafters and have it be a smaller sale, more cozy and more community focused,” said Jill, a Clancy resident.
