At its annual “Cowboy Christmas” fundraiser last Thursday, Whitehall’s Western Legacy Center honored the Carey ranching clan as the inaugural selection of its generational family tribute.
Sandy Carey gushed about the festive decorations, the delicious meal from Red Apron caterers, the pleasant atmosphere, and the friendliness of the hosts and guests. “We really had a fantastic time,” she said. “It was a great night.”
Western Legacy Center Director Tom Harrington, a former manager of the Jefferson Local Development Corporation, delivered a presentation detailing the Carey family history and its vast impact.
