The Montana Historical Society is set to auction off a sprawling and pristine property near Three Forks next month to help fund ongoing construction of its $105 million heritage center.

“Step into the heart of Montana with 326 acres of unspoiled range land offering sweeping Big Sky views and abundant wildlife,” reads the MTHS listing, adding that the property, just west of the Interstate 90-Highway 287 junction, has no existing structures. “This property is easily accessible yet wonderfully secluded.
