Our ubiquitous renewable resource

Trees have been on my mind lately. Partially because I’m an arborist, which involves pruning trees, removing trees, and planting trees. I also sell sawmills and wood boilers. So, yes, the amazing renewable resource of trees represent a big part of my life.

Maybe it’s the emerging fall colors, the start of firewood stocking-up season, or the wildfire smoke hanging in the Valley that has left me acutely aware of our trees. Regardless, I’d like to highlight some of the wonderful benefits of trees we so often take for granted.

1. They improve human health by filtering air pollutants.
