Teen volunteers stash Boulder’ trash, raise awareness

Teen volunteers recently picked up 65 pounds of garbage from Boulder ditches in a clean-up event hosted by Southwest Montana Youth Partners.

16-year-old Lee Craft set out to do something good for the town. “It may feel like a silly thing to some people,” he said, “but it’s actually really important.” 

Southwest Montana Youth Partners organized the Apr. 18 outing to spur greater environmental awareness and activity, particularly among younger Boulder residents.
