Coach inducted into Rocky Hall of Fame

Sometimes the recognition takes a while but then comes pouring in all at once. That is the case for Coach Dick Norden, who led the Jefferson High Panther boys’ basketball team to a Class B state title in 1984.

More than a decade after he handed over the top coaching job, he has been the honoree at two big award dinners in the past three months.

In June, Norden was inducted into the Mon- tana Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and Friday Norden was inducted into the 2017 Rocky Mountain College Athletic Hall of Fame. He was also recognized at halftime of the Rocky/Montana Tech football game Saturday.
