As the school year enters its last month, spring sports are also heading toward their season end. 

Golf will be the first to enter the post-season at the divisional tournament set for Monday, May 8, in Bozeman the the Cottonwood golf course beginning at 9 a.m. The JHS golfers competed on that course last week, where Josh Eckmann shot a 91 and Taden Hanson scored a 114. The team also got in some play at the Old Works course in Anaconda. Eckmann shot a 103, Andy Johnson at 115, Cole Oie a 129 and Jan- son a 136 on the Arnold Palmer designed course. This week the varsity will be at Three Forks on Thursday for a 10 a.m. start, the last regular season event before the divisional 

TRACK AND FIELD The Panther track and field teams were in Bozeman last Saturday for the large Manhattan Christian meet. The JHS boys took eighth with 30 points. Avery Stiles won the high jump at 5’10”, Josh Eckmann tied for second at 5’8” and took 4th in the triple jump at 39’ 1/2”. Noah Fader took second in the javelin with a throw of 142’1” and Dalton Rykal took 6th in the shot put with a throw of 38’ 3”.
