The following cases were heard in district court in Boulder recently.
Michelle Greene changed her plea to guilty May 3 of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Law enforcement officials say she was parked beside the road near Ash Grove Cement in the Montana City area June 11, 2016 when the offenses were uncovered. Sentencing has been set for May 24.
Melissa Shurtliff appeared in court May 3 and entered not guilty pleas to charges of assault with a weapon, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Law enforcement officials allege she stabbed a male companion August 16, 2016 at the Crystal Creek Campground after an argument. She was released on her own recognizance pending further court action. She was ordered not to possess alcohol or drugs, not to associate with victims or witnesses, to observe a 7 p.m. curfew and to comply with other conditions of her release.
