Cleaning up the town BASIN HOLDS A COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY

Though the day was not as warm and sunny as some might have hoped, Saturday was filled with plenty of warmth and brightness created by the spirit of community pride on display. Community members gathered in the early afternoon to spend time doing spring cleaning in the local streets, sidewalks and other public areas.

Carrying garbage bags provided by event organizers, the Basinites swept up the trash and shared congratulations on their efforts. The day continued into the dinner hour, when the community held a get together that included a meal, a sale and an art show featuring works created by the local students over the past year.
