State science fair winners

Three Montana City School students won their division at the Montana State Science Fair held recently in Butte. Eighth grader Olivia Bartsch captured a gold in Physical Science. Fellow eighth grader Sam Zody also topped the results for Behavioral Science for the eighth grade division. Winning a gold in the sixth grade division for Behavioral Science was Toby Bartsch. 

Runners up earning silver medals: Haleigh Henschel and Shelby Pearce in fifth grade Earth Science; Clara Schuele in fifth grade Physical Science; Taryn Oser and Julia Thomson in sixth grade Behavioral Science; Lenny Triem in eighth grade Earth Science; and Marrin Chapman and Aimee Wilkerson in eighth grade Behavioral Science. Two Montana City students earned third place finishes: Belle Kennedy in fifth grade Earth Science and Gage LaMan in sixth grade Behavioral Science.
