Montana City School repeats as Academic Olympics champ

For the second year in a row, a team of Montana City School students captured first place in the Southwest Montana Regional Academic Olympics Competition. Seventh graders Lucas Canty and Maddie Stroman joined eighth-graders Braden Denler, Lenny Triem and Ben Vince in winning top honors at the event. Triem also took top overall individual honors. 

Competing against 50 other teams, Montana City teams also took third and fourth. Third place went to eighth graders Alyssa Koenig and Aimee Wilkerson, seventh graders Reece Johnson and sixth graders Killiam Humbert and Jeri Wilkerson. In fourth were eighth graders Marrin Chapman, Julia Goughnour and Russell Wells plus seventh grader Byren Stoner and sixth grader Robert Stimpson. Wilkerson also finished in fourth place overall as an individual and Stoner was fourth in the seventh grade division
