‘Ghost sign’ mystery unfolds

The mystery of the Eddy’s Bread “ghost sign” on the wall at the L&P Grocery in Boulder is part way to a solution.

The November 7 Monitor shared news about a desire by the L&P to repaint the sign which is seriously faded in places. L&P owner Luke Vossler had asked the Monitor to look for a photo of the sign when it was newer and more decipherable, but an initial look, without knowing when the sign was painted, produced no such photo. The Heritage Center also did some research without finding a photo.
