Clancy takes third at state Science Olympiad

Students from Jefferson High, Clancy School and Montana City School challenged their scientific skills in Bozeman November 20 at the Montana State Science Olympiad.

In fourteen categories covering a wide array of scientific principles, students competed with nearly fifty schools for bragging rights.

The Clancy team came home with a third place overall in competition with 47 other middle schools and junior highs. They captured first in “Boomilever” and “Heredity” as well as taking second in “Fossils,” third in “Crime Busters,” and fifth in “Elastic Launch Glider.”
