Three local girls among evacuees from flooded area

Three local girls were among the 100 summer campers evacuated Thursday by helicopter.

The C Bar N Ministries Bible camp southwest of Augusta had been cut off by the rising Dearborn River as flooding entirely shut off road access to Augusta.

Kinsey Kirsch, Quinne Shultz and Clare Ronayne said the experience was exciting though a little unnerving.
