Incumbents get nod, fire levy approved

The May 8 school election seemed to indicate voters in Boulder are generally satisfied with the way the elementary school is running. Incumbent school board members Carrie Harris and Eric Rykal were both re-elected. Harris received 201 votes, Rykal 186. Challenger Niki Conroy, who advocated a need for change in several areas, did not get a seat on the board, receiving 131 votes.

Voters in Clancy chose Marissa Ostby to fill a three-year term on the school board. Ostby received 250 votes compared to 87 votes for Clinton R. Blaricom.

Montana City voters selected Marta Bertoglio, 634 votes, and Stephanie Boysen, 581 votes, to fill the two available seats. Also running was Dennis Spencer, who received 212 votes.
