Junior high wrestlers end season well

The Boulder junior high wrestling team has been very busy the past two weeks. On Tuesday, February 27, they participated at the Townsend Middle School Mixer. Competing for Boulder were Dayton Brown, Ryan Brown, Arena Faler, Cole Jeske, Keaton Poulsen, Kylar Rintamaki and Hunter Steele.

The wrestlers were paired up by weight and three rounds were wrestled. In the first round Jeske was the only one to win a match and he did so by pin. In the second round Jeske, Dayton Brown and Rintakami emerged with a win by pin. The third and final round was the most productive for the young Panther squad as Jeske, Dayton Brown, Ryan Brown and Steele all won by pin.

Next up was the Butte Central Middle School Mixer on Thursday, March 1. Competing for Boulder were Dayton Brown, Ryan Brown, Faler, Poulsen and Steele. Two rounds were wrestled.
