Two Jefferson High seniors have been awarded All State honors from District 5B. Among the boys, Josh Eckmann earned that recognition, along with a first team All Conference designation. Aubrey McMaster is one of five District 5B girls awarded All State honors.
Others named as All State players for the girls were Shainey Mack, a Three Forks senior, teammate Kyle Olson, a junior, Townsend senior Lainee Hll and her teammate Tavia Rooney, a junior. Three Forks and Townsend teams played at the Class B State Basketball Tournament in Missoula over the weekend, where Three Forks took the championship and Townsend finished third.
First team All Conference players included those five plus Morgan Allen, a Three Forks senior.
Jefferson High senior Ellie Evertz was named to the second team All Conference for girls. Others on the second team were Big Timber senior Madilyn Emter and junior teammate Sydney Prather, Whitehall sophomore Asha Noyes, and Townsend players Catie Watson, a senior, and freshman Charlotte Watson.
On the boys’ side, Whitehall junior Max Feight and Three Forks junior Colter Miller joined Eckmann in receiving All State honors.
The District 5B All State and All Conference awards are decided on a vote by the district coaches, who cannot vote for their own players.
