Montana’s official high school basketball season ended with the state championships last week.

The top three spots in Class B girls’ basketball all went to teams from the Southern B division in which Jefferson High plays.

Taking top honors at the Missoula tournament was Three Forks, finishing off an undefeated season by beating Poplar 63-59, Bigfork 52-45 and Colstrip 57-48. Colstrip, the second place team, got into the title game by beating Powell Conty 48-43 in overtime and Townsend 47-40. Third place went to Townsend who defeated Rocky Boy 65-44, lost to Colstrip, beat Poplar 43-41 and then won an overtime game with Powell County 41-37.
